After months of determination, we are proud to present Evoke's 29th exhibition, The End. The End brings a dark and inspiring variety of art, music, and photography. We released this exhibition on the day the Mayan calendar ends, a day predicted to signify the termination of the world as we know it. Feelings of death, rage, gloom, and bereavement are scattered throughout the artwork. Our featured artist, Parker Gibson, produced some truly outstanding collaborations and solo works for this release. He stuck with his roots, creating art that displays his rough sketch style through paint splatters and quick strokes. Howard Winterson is another dominant force in the exhibition. He crafts your imagination by his use of bold shapes, vivid colors, and detailed patterns. Long-time member Ricardo collaborated on several pieces, helping to push our newer artists to their maximum potential. Many recent recruits also contributed to the success of this release. Mike Yang's photography, Martin Grohs' matte painting, Raf Banzuela's digital painting, and Mikolaj Lawnicki's photo-manipulations are all fresh Evoke artists pushing the boundaries. On behalf of Evoke, we hope you enjoy our 29th exhibition! Grab some popcorn and browse fast, just in case the world really does end! -Brandon Spahn, EvokeOne Sr. Member

Everyone go check out the whole project on behance: [link] and download a train or two to make. This has been a lot of fun and would be great for it to get some support from the effort everyone (especially Theo) has put in!

In our 19th release The Luminarium explores our more sinister side. We look for our deepest, darkest desires. Those things we wish for in the dead of the night, or that fit of rage. Our ghosts, our demons, the skeletons in our closets. The Luminarium presents The Dark Side of the Mind.

Hell yeah, great start to a Friday morning. Got a DD today for my Lum piece "The Guardians of the Temple".

So a big thank you to :iconinfinite705: (who has suggested both of my last 2 DDs, much much love) and to :iconalltheoriginalnames:

This now means I have received DDs for all the artistic areas I cover, Abstracts, Photography and now Sci-Fi too, which makes me really pleased.

My other DDs are:

Hey all, on my facebook page I'm running a little give away. I have 5 iPhone skins to give away (3 designs), it would be cool to get a number of entries from you all!

Our 18th release is a tribute to that which gives us all huge amounts of inspiration. The natural world. Nature has been an inspiration for those of an artistic bent for time immemorial, from cave men drawing the animals around them on cave walls to the great impressionist Monet's landscape paintings. At The Luminarium we are no different, so Gaia we salute you.

I have 4 pieces of work in this release, 2 photos, an abstract and a colab with Kuldar Lement.
Edit 2:

Seems comments have been disabled on his page and that comments are slowly disappearing. Lets see what happens next.

Edit:

You can see a full list of those confirmed so far here: [link]

Original Post:

... and it's by a "big un". Surprised which piece it was in the end.

Anyway the guy who does the artwork for excision / subhuman, I'm assuming people know who they are, I don't, has been ripping people. You might well have seen that Jonathan Foerster was ripped in a big way by him:

Anyway my piece from a while ago "The Rings": [link] is in one of them too [link]

Screenshots if he removes it and denies it: [link] [link]

I didn't see anything else I explicitly recognised, but I'm sure there are plenty of people's work in there. Anyway you all know the drill.

Good things still come to those who wait.  Actually great things.  In this case, it's a digital onslaught of mind-blowing artworks, photography and music, supplied by none other than Intrinsic Nature's team of rejuvenated artists. IN12 showcases 73 works of art created by 46 international artists, so sit back and relax while you enjoy the awesome visual journey that is Intrinsic Nature's Experiment 12, and dont forget to turn your speakers up or throw in some headphones while viewing!

I've got 2 pieces in this release, a photo (which is a featured piece, which I'm really happy about) and a digital collaboration.

Just passing on the message from our fellow artist Amy Neal.

GIVE THEM HELL.

Edit:

It appears they have now taken it down.

Devious Journal Entry

Journal Entry: Sun Feb 26, 2012, 3:41 PM

The Luminarium presents our 17th Exhibit: Illuminate IV. This exhibit is bursting with high quality artwork; from the atmospheric science fiction paintings of featured artist Kuldar Leement and the ever-present Bobby Mears to the stunning landscape photography of Edan Trevethick or the abstract creations of Thor Johannessen this exhibit definitely has something for everyone.

After valiant effort, we proudly present the first exhibition of 2012. Our 27th release, Nostalgia, brings a dynamic collection of art, photography, and music. The term "Nostalgia" was interpreted in a unique manner amongst our international roster. Feelings of sorrow, felicity, and childhood memories were ignited within and translated into ethereal works of art. We even journeyed back into EvokeOne's past by creating our "Nostalgia" type group collaboration that was directed by Brandon Spahn. This was an idea we presented three years ago in our "Revolution" release, and enjoyed revisiting this type project to bring our artists together.

Our featured artist, Brandon Spahn, brings his distinctive photo-manipulation style to a whole other level with this release by stepping a bit out of his comfort zone and experimenting with new elements. Senior Artists Tyler Lehman and Ricardo Juarez joined forces to make a dynamic composition, while many others combined efforts to create the amazing "Papermoon Disaster". Sahir Khan, Maebh Costello, and Nastasia Peters combined traditional techniques with digital to devise stunning illustrations, and Ian Steele, EJ Dalupang, and Carlos Cigaro produced innovative and original 2d vector work. All of which is accompanied by slick audio from JB Gordon and Ben Bruce. Our innovative ideas, unique concepts, and bold efforts are sure to entertain and please you as you take a look into the past through EvokeOne's Nostalgia.

The Luminarium #16: Asylum

Journal Entry: Thu Dec 8, 2011, 6:09 AM

The Luminarium Presents our 16th Exhibit: Asylum. Escape...we long for it. We long to just run away from the insanity of this world-from reality itself. We seek asylum in the darkness, in the safe havens, in the deep, and the beyond. We cover ourselves from persecution, seeking to destroy our being. We awake from our worst dreams, hoping for a better reality. No matter what, when reality hits us hard, we all hide; we all find refuge, be it mental or physical. This is our escape. This is our Asylum.

Sometimes I wonder. Loyalty, Dedication and a bit of hard work all seem to be concepts lost on far to many people these days, especially if the personal benefit isn't instantaneous.

:(

Someone please prove me wrong.

[Edit]
When I say these days, I probably don't really mean that, it might not be anything new, just that I've noticed it more (and got more frustrated) as I've got older and more involved in various things.

Sup guys, back from my cycling holiday in Switzerland. It was awesome, love it over there. So expensive tho. Anyway some photos should be coming soon.

Also while I was gone EvokeOne released their 25th exhibition which features 4 piece from me (3 collabs and a photo). One of my pieces was a featured piece too, my 2nd there which I'm really happy about.

"Freestyle is our 25th exhibition. With over 40 submissions exploding with color and movement, Freestyle experiments with the emotion created through images of life, destruction, landscape and imagination.

Our featured artist Daniel Kong leads us in with highly creative abstract art, assisted with smooth music from Ben Bruce. Surreal collaborative work from Anthony Gargasz & Alastair Temple combine 3d, photo-manipulation and photography pushing their craft and opening the group to new vision of ideas.

Enjoy this collection of work."
